Scarlet & Gold: Give Grace Campaign

Give Grace. A campaign started by Megan and Blake Smalley, #GiveGrace sheds light on the Smalley’s struggles with IVF and infertility.  Megan is founder and owner of Scarlet & Gold, a local print shop that has gained national notoriety over the past few months. The Smalleys and the team at S & G decided to use their platform to encourage others and help more couples who also struggle with starting a family. You can support Megan and Blake by purchasing a print or a flash tattoo like the ones shown in my pictures above.   Please take the time to read the entire story here.

Give Grace. The second part of this campaign is about healing hurts and meeting the needs of any of your neighbors, regardless of their struggles. From personal experience, people do a lot of talking. “Let me know if you need anything!” “That’s such a shame, I wish I could help!” I genuinely believe these people have the best intentions, but sometimes people need more than a platitude. If we’re supposed to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ and the church, then we need to do a lot more giving and moving than talking. If your friend or loved one is hurting in anyway, think of ways you can help them. Actively pray for them. Take them a meal if they don’t have time to cook. Buy dog food for their pets if their running low on cash (I can speak from experience that this is thoughtful and greatly appreciated). Sell beautiful prints and tattoos to raise money for their fertility treatments.
