#TomisBeachBach | My Charleston Bachelorette Itinerary

Carolina Blogger, GoodTomiCha, shares her Charleston Bachelorette Weekend Itinerary

Happy to finally share part 2 of my Charleston bachelorette weekend with y’ all! Having one of the best parties of your life right before finals week is hectic but 10/10 would recommend. LOL. If you haven’t read part one of the series, head to this post right here. I shared all of my outfit details and about our crazy drive to Charleston! In total, I had 15 people join me: my 8 bridesmaids and 7 ad lifelong friends from Auburn and New York! It was surreal seeing my group of diverse friends from different time periods of my life all getting along and even becoming friends themselves! Blessed is definitely an understatement. Well, let’s get right into this, shall we?

Again, I shared about this in my previous recap post, but what’s not to love? Gorgeous scenery, delicious food, and right next to the beach. We found this Airbnb that had plenty of bathrooms (PTL) and about a 20-minute walk downtown. Super convenient right?!

Hangover Kits for Bachelorette Parties | What a cute idea! | GoodTomiCha.com

I knew I wanted to gift my besties with some swag bags that were filled with things they could reuse (i.e. not covered in a hashtag or date).  I mean I literally had people fly and drive in for me! These personalized burlap tote bags from Wedding Favorites are so practical and cute. They were filled with hangover kits by Honeybee gifts that had band-aids, hair ties, medicine, you name it. Clever, right?! Let me just say they came in handy Sunday morning hehe.  Finally, I gifted them these heart-shaped sunglasses for the weekend from Shop Bash. I knew we’d be walking outside a lot and get a lot of use out of them! As a lover of all things pink, I knew Stag and Hen were the people for me. They had everything we needed like balloons, banners, cups, and even fun game ideas for the weekend. I also snagged these Day Drinker tumblers as an extra surprise for my friends and they were a huge hit!

Charleston Bachelorette Weekend Itinerary

Friday

Diva Dance Charleston Studio for Bachelorette Parties | Feyonce | Etsy bachelorette tank tops Partition by Beyonce choreography for charleston bachelorette party weekend

We all drove to Charleston and arrive around 5 (a lot later than we planned because of the weather). Once we finished unpacking and setting up the place, we took some time to introduce everyone! Highly recommend doing this first if you have a larger group by the way. After we finished, we changed into our Beyoncé inspired tank tops and went to the Diva Dance studio! It’s newer in Charleston, but they have locations throughout the US where you can learn choreography with your friends. In honesty, I was hoping to do a pole class but we just had too many people. If there are two things to know about me it’s that I love to dance and Beyoncé so this couldn’t have been better. And boy did we work up a sweat! We ended up learning a routine to Partition and kept breaking it out all weekend long. Check my Instagram highlights (@goodtomicha) to see the routine!

All the booty-shakin’ had us ready for dinner at Charleston Crab House. I wanted something casual since we’d be coming in our workout clothes. But we also needed larger portions after such a long day! The crab house delivered on both counts and had nice views of the water, too. Tip: Make reservations for EVERY meal you’re planning on eating out during your bachelorette weekend. It makes it easier with larger groups and won’t mess up your schedule of events! At night, my MOH hosted my lingerie shower back at the Airbnb (complete with a couple of fashion shows) and we all turned in for early night sleep.

Saturday

outfit details in this post

Saturday morning we made a homemade brunch featuring pancakes, bacon, and mimosas. Yum! Everyone took it easy getting ready since we had so much free time in the afternoon which was a nice way to just hang out with everyone. We planned for the beach (I mean hello. #BEACHbach) but it was way too cold. Instead, we got the chance to explore downtown Charleston and I definitely appreciated that more in the long run! We strolled through the College of Charleston, shopped on King’s street, and grabbed some yummy tacos for a late lunch. If you want more ideas on what to see, you can read my travel guide to Charleston here with even more places to visit!

At night, we all got glammed up to go back out for a photoshoot at Rainbow Row. It was funny seeing other tourists and bachelorette groups doing the same thing, too! However, we were probably the only extra ones who got a photographer. LOL. I just wanted to make sure we got high-quality group shots instead of hoping a stranger on the street could take one on our phones. And I don’t regret it one bit. It helped me make sure I got a photo with everyone who came and plus, I needed to commemorate how great everyone looked! We took an Uber to Stars Rooftop for the fancy dinner of the weekend. It’s a bit more expensive but the atmosphere and the views from the top are definitely worth it. For dessert, we walked next door for Jeni’s Ice Cream before going out for dancing!

Charleston Bachelorette Party Itinerary | what to do, where to eat, and where to stay

We ended up visiting 3 bars in total. Our second stop was Dudley’s, an LBGT+ friendly spot that was within walking distance. It happened to be drag night and the queens were giving me LIFE! However, please note if you go to gay bars with your bach party to be respectful. Totally hypocritical I know. But they’re just trying to find a place to party safely and don’t need a bunch of annoying, women yelling “SLAY ME, YAS!” in their ears all night long. Have fun, tip the performers, and learn a new dance move or two! We ended up moving to a final bar once the drag show was finished since it was mostly techno music. The Trio club played all of your top 40 hip-hop/rap/r&b kind of songs that you can really get down to. We probably called it quits around 1 AM cause we’re old now (HA, jokes) and were all asleep by 2.

GoodTomiCha Charleston Bachelorette Weekend in South Carolina

Sunday

Earlier morning since we had to be out of the Airbnb by 11 AM. But we made lunches for the ride home, cleaned up, and said our goodbyes! My car had more time to kill since their flights weren’t until the evening so we took a drive down to Battery Park and walked along the pier for lunch before heading to Charlotte. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! Thanks to the brands, friends, and most importantly, my maid of honor and sis, Lola for making this happen!

Would you have a Charleston bachelorette party? Let me know!
