It’s time we have a new approach to Mondays. My parents really instilled in me the power of positive thinking and that’s overflowed into my life as an adult. I try to approach anything I’m dreading with confidence (even though it’s hard) and Mondays used to be one of them! Now, I take it as an opportunity to journal my goals for the week, get organized, and practice some serious self-care.
What does self-care mean to me? Anything that helps you unwind and release stress works in my book. Lately, I’ve been really into skincare and find that I sleep better when I take my time doing it. While I feel like the term can be overused, I definitely think it’s important to make yourself a priority! The workweek is stressful enough, so starting it off on a good note is crucial.
I’ve recently added Crest 3D Whitestrips into my nighttime routine and I’m LOVING it. Like a true ENTJ (or enneagram 3, pick your poison) I’m always looking for the best way to maximize efficiency and my time. If I’m microwaving my lunch, I’m putting away dishes or cleaning the counter as I wait. When grocery shopping with Will, I make us split the list and meet back at the front when we’re done. LOL. No point in waiting around when you can finish the errand twice as fast!
So, in order to be the most efficient, I absolutely HAVE to watch reality tv as I use my Crest 3D Whitestrips. I mean, it’s purely for that reason alone, of course. 😉 If I’m not enjoying #BachelorMondays, I’m finishing the rest of my skincare routine or reading my latest book find. All of the above has helped me get focused for the week and get ready for Tuesday with a positive attitude (and a whiter smile)!
